Very well done to Ryan Goodfellow, Scott Bennett and Daniel John, who went to Beverwijk in Holland this weekend to take part in the biggest Special Needs Judo Competition in the world.

All three fought very well in their very challenging groups. Daniel won Gold, winning every one of his fights with a great display of Judo. Ryan and Scott both won Bronze, showing a great deal of grit and determination in very difficult pools.

Scott Bennett also thought he would try his luck in the adult section of the competition, which was later in the day, and with a completely different level of Judo, at 13 years old, walked away with the Gold trophy in the men’s competition. A fantastic result!

Once again, well done to all three.
