What a fantastic day we had at Stroud.

The fighters were fantastic - tremendous heart, courage and skill. They all did exceptionally well. As always they were lifted by the BSJC fan club who were in full voice. Well done everybody.

Gemma also did a very good job as one of the referees. Authoritative, commanding and competent.

However the biggest acknowledgement must go to Pete - the wise old corner man encouraging, motivating, inspiring and coaching the kids every step of the way. Pete literally lived every fight they went through. It was amazing to see him actually doing the throws himself on the side of the mat whilst the kids were fighting. Thanks Pete.
